Dr. Syed Mohammed Ali Ahmed is a skilled vascular surgeon whose specialized training spans some of India's most prestigious institutions. With over 12 years of hands-on experience, he completed his M.S (Master of Surgery) in General Surgery from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, before pursuing advanced specialization in vascular surgery, earning his M.Ch (Master of Chirurgiae) in 2022 from the Government Rajaji Hospital affiliated to Madurai Medical College, Tamil Nadu. He pursued international training through a fellowship program at Ng Teng Fong Hospital, Singapore (December 2023 - March 2024), where he earned his FVS (Singapore) qualification and further refined his expertise in complex vascular interventions.

Dr. Ali has established himself as one of the few surgeons in India with dedicated expertise in lymphatic disease surgery, a rare and highly specialized field that requires exceptional technical skill and a thorough understanding of lymphatic pathophysiology. His particular passion lies in aortic work, where he demonstrates mastery in both open and endovascular approaches for treating occlusive and aneurysmal conditions. This dual proficiency allows him to offer patients the most appropriate surgical solution based on their individual clinical presentation. He is also an expert in carotid disease surgery.

Having served as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at AIG Hospitals and Medicover Hospitals, Hyderabad, Dr. Ali has managed an extensive range of complex vascular cases. His surgical expertise extends beyond aortic interventions to encompass comprehensive limb salvage strategies in both trauma and chronic occlusive diseases, consistently achieving functional restoration even in the most challenging scenarios.

In 2024, Dr. Ali had the honour of presenting a series of lymphoedema cases at the Vascular Surgery Annual Meet in the United States as India's representative.
